Based upon notices and health advisories issued by Federal, State and Local officials and pursuant to Governor Cuomo’s Executive Order 202.1, dated March 12, 2020, which, among other things, suspended portions of the NYS Open Meetings Law, the Hampton Bays Union Free School District Board of Education meeting on March 25, 2020 will be held by Zoom meeting app.  If an Executive Session of the Board of Education is required, it will be initiated with the Board of Education first convening the public meeting by using Zoom, adopting a motion to go into Executive Session, disconnecting the conference call and then re-initiating a public conference call once the Executive Session has concluded.

Due to public health and safety concerns and pursuant to Executive Order 202.1, the public will not be permitted to attend this meeting in person or at the remote locations where the Board of Education members will be situated.

Therefore, those provisions of Board Policies 2310, 2340 and 2350 regarding public meetings, videoconferencing and public expression at meetings are being suspended for this meeting and all other meetings until further notice. The public, however, will be able to watch or listen to this meeting through the Zoom app.  It is intended that the meeting will be recorded and later transcribed.
