Hampton Bays Elementary School first graders celebrated holiday customs around the world on Friday, December 17, by putting on a series of concerts and playing to a jam-packed audience of parents and loved ones.

Each of the seven first-grade classes participated by representing different countries—Italy, Germany, Ireland, Australia, Israel, Sweden and Mexico—in song and handmade attire.

This year, Ms. Poremba’s class represented Italy, Ms. Barker’s class represented Germany, Ms. O’Hanlon’s class represented Ireland, Ms. Loper’s class represented Australia, Ms. Hutchison’s class represented Israel, Ms. Thristino’s class represented Sweden, and Ms. Biscardi’s class represented Mexico.
