In an effort to provide parents with tools to help their children with their studies, the elementary school held a parent workshop on Oct. 15.

The workshop featured training stations where parents learned how to solve various problem sets associated with the grade K-4 math curriculum. Parents were also able to ask teachers questions and learn how to better assist their children with homework.

“We found that some parents were having trouble understanding homework, so we felt this would be a great opportunity to reach out to the community and help,” said
Principal Marc Meyer.
