Students Learn About Careers at Fair

What do a registered nurse, United States Marine, musician and athletic trainer have in common? They were all careers represented at the high school’s second annual Career Fair on March 27.

During the full-day fair, 10th- and 11th-graders moved from classroom to classroom, exploring more than 50 different careers from regional and local professionals. In each session, the professional volunteers explained to the high school students what it takes to get into their fields, from schooling to work-related experience.

“This was an excellent opportunity for our students to learn about the wide variety of careers available to them,” said Christopher Richardt, principal.
