Students Present at Science Symposium

High school Research in Science students presented their scientific findings at the school’s second annual Science Research Symposium on April 30.

The 18 students spent, in some cases, between three and four years working on their research projects. Projects included topics related to hurricane tracking, bacteriology, brain cancer, and the red meat allergy from the lone star tick.

The Hampton Bays School District congratulates the following student presenters: Sydney Caldwell, Kaylee Catena, Taylor Dunn, Mackenzie Engeldrum, McCaila Grismer, Alicia Golyski, Sarah Jiudice, Annika Kennedy, Erin Link, Meghan Long, Alexandra Macholz, Jack Martin, Erin Murphy, Caroline Oakland, Alexandra Peterson, Lily Spellman, Magdalena Wrobel and Matthew Zbikowksi.
