For all their hard work and dedication to students and student-athletes, the high school varsity cheerleading squad and football team recently held an appreciation day for their teachers.

Throughout the day, the cheerleaders and football players recognized their teachers by presenting them with ribbons and jerseys to wear. The cheerleaders also handed out homemade treats.

In addition, the Booster Club offered teachers and staff members free hot dogs and drinks during the football team’s home game against East Hampton on Oct. 16.   

“It was a great day where the athletes were able to simply say thank you to many of the adults who help guide them through their educational journey in Hampton Bays,” said Athletic Director Drew Walker.
