Through a monthlong read-a-thon and supply drive, elementary students helped to gather wish list items for the Ronald McDonald House.

The community service project, which was sponsored by the reading department and K-Kids club, resulted in more than $150 in donations. These funds were used to purchase items for the Ronald McDonald House. Separately, the student council collected an additional 10 boxes filled with toys, household cleaners, towels, linens and toiletries for the House.

To express gratitude for the students’ efforts, Ronald McDonald visited the building during a recent assembly on reusing and recycling.
