Throughout the month of November, members of the Hampton Bays High School Key Club participated in a multitude of community service activities. On November 18, the club hosted a Heavenly Hat Day in which students donated $1 to be able to wear their hat in school for the day. The $225 was donated to Heavenly Hats, Inc., which will use the money to purchase new hats for individuals who have lost their hair due to medical issues.

Continuing their giving back, the Key Clubbers ventured into the community on Saturday, November 19 and Sunday, November 20. On Saturday, 32 members raked leaves for nine homes owned by senior citizens. Ending their weekend of community service, the students worked with the Southampton Kiwanis Club to prepare 180 holiday food baskets for local families.
