Hampton Bays High School Science Research students presented their scientific findings at the school’s fifth annual Science Research Symposium on April 26. 

The 19 students, who are all enrolled in the high school’s Science Research program, spent as many as four years working on their research projects. Topics included the medical uses of 3D technology, cardiovascular medicine, diabetes and obesity. 

The Hampton Bays School District extends its congratulations to the following student presenters: freshmen David Catena, Tara Lauther, Katerina Reich, Shaina Pierce, Dulce Pina, Sarola Scully and William Theiling; sophomores Lily Candelaria, Elizabeth Daniles, Sky McMorris and Riley Stotzky; juniors Ava Bianchi, Mecca Brooks, Christina Coulton, Maryrose O’Connell and Jared Strecker; and seniors Sydney Caldwell, Meghan Long and Caroline Oakland.
