A new school year in Hampton Bays officially got underway on Sept. 8 as students returned to classrooms ready to learn, reconnect and embark on new horizons.

Students spent the day settling into their classrooms and learning about their new routines and teachers.

“We are thrilled to welcome our students and families back,” said Superintendent of Schools Lars Clemensen. “A new school year is 180 opportunities to chart a new horizon and achieve a new height.  We have a lot to do and are so excited to get started.”
