Five Hampton Bays High School students have been selected for the All-State Festival of the 2026 New York State School Music Association Winter Conference, with three chosen to perform and two selected as alternates.

Sebastian Martinez and Gimena Valdespino were named to the vocal jazz ensemble and Willem Sarkis to the symphonic band. Cristian Kearns was named as an alternate to the symphonic band and Nathan Kearns as an alternate to the jazz band.

The students were selected after receiving high scores from state adjudicators on their solo performances at last spring’s NYSSMA Solo Evaluation Festival.

The Hampton Bays School District congratulates these talented musicians.
