The Hampton Bays School District extends its congratulations to six members of the boys varsity wrestling team who wrestled their way to top spots at the St. John Cougar Pride Wrestling Tournament on Jan. 11. Congratulations go to:

Third-Place Finish for Hampton Bays Cheer

Congratulations to the Hampton Bays varsity cheerleaders on their third-place finish at their first competition of the season at Westhampton Beach High School on Dec. 7. This is the first time the team has placed in the past five years. The team is led by senior captains Eden Spellman and Maddie Warn.

During the annual Suffolk County Volleyball Coaches Association awards dinner, several Hampton Bays School District players were recognized with awards. Also honored was Alexis Fotopoulous, who was named Junior Varsity Coach of the Year.

The Hampton Bays School District extends its congratulations to the following girls volleyball players:

Accolades for Hampton Bays High School athletic teams

The New York State Public High School Athletic Association has recognized eight Hampton Bays High School fall athletic teams as Scholar-Athlete Teams.

To earn the recognition, 75% of each team was required to hold a GPA above 90%.

The Hampton Bays School District extends its congratulations to the boys and girls cross-county teams, girls varsity volleyball team, girls varsity soccer team, girls varsity tennis team, boys varsity golf team, the football team and cheer squad.
