Hampton Bays Elementary School kindergartners celebrated St. Patrick’s Day on March 17 with a day full of hands-on activities, including carefully setting up leprechaun traps that they designed at home. Despite using clever bait, the leprechaun eluded them, leaving behind green glitter, footprints, a mess in their classrooms and a few fun goodies such as bubbles and pencils. Better luck next year!
