Hampton Bays thespians nominated for Teeny Awards

Hampton Bays High School student thespians have earned multiple 2026 Teeny Award nominations for their work in “The Crucible” and “Sister Act.” The awards ceremony will take place on June 14 at 3 p.m. at Westhampton Beach High School. The Teeny Awards program recognizes student talent across 20 East End school districts.

The district congratulates the following nominees:

Lead Role in a Play

Sarah Chami in the role of Elizabeth Proctor in “The Crucible”

Clare Loesch in the role of Abigail Williams in “The Crucible”

James Maroulas in the role of John Proctor in “The Crucible”


Supporting Role in a Play

Will Barletta in the role of Reverend Samuel Parris in “The Crucible”

Eoin Datsyuk in the role of Reverend John Hale in “The Crucible”

Parker Molina in the role of Judge George Danforth in “The Crucible”

Samantha O’Neal in the role of Mary Warren in “The Crucible”


The Mary Ann Mortorano Lead Role in a Musical Award

Hannah Russell in the role of Mother Superior in “Sister Act”


Outstanding Performer in a Play

Sumeja Bytyqi in the role of Tituba in “The Crucible”

Nathaniel Cote in the role of Giles Corey in “The Crucible”



Outstanding Playbill or Poster Design
