Hampton Bays High School and Middle School have once again been designated as Gold Star No Place for Hate Schools.

The designations come after both schools initiated student-driven programs that promote belonging, kindness and leadership.

All activities are spearheaded by the schools’ mental health teams, who used

customizable, anti-bias tools and activities provided by the No Place for Hate program to promote a culture of caring within their buildings .

Students in both buildings have also signed No Place for Hate pledges.
