We, the students of Hampton Bays High School, in order to develop a maximum of initiative, self-expression, activities, self-control, purposeful living, to promote democratic ideals, to create greater cooperation between faculty members and students, do ordain and establish the Constitution for our guidance, conduct, and self expression, and we accept in full its responsibilities .
