Hampton Bays musicians participate in HMEA festival

The Hampton Bays Union Free School District extends its congratulations to 18 middle school music students who recently participated in the Hampton Music Educators Association’s annual music festival at Riverhead High School on Jan. 17.

To participate, the students were nominated by their music teacher and then selected by the festival committee. They took part in several practice sessions and a final concert.

“These students really worked hard practicing and preparing,” said music teacher Carolanne Mazur.
