Hampton Bays High School News Literacy students recently had the opportunity to meet with Joseph Shaw, executive director of the Express News Group. During the visit, Shaw spoke to the students about what it means to work for a newspaper in 2023, how local journalism benefits the community, and why it is important to stay informed. He also led a Q&A with the students, answering their questions about the field of journalism.
