Hampton Bays Elementary School second grade students in Liz Scott and Krista Savino's class recently learned about Election Day and what it means to vote through a hands-on activity. The students were given ballots to cast a vote on their favorite school activity. They learned that voting can be anonymous, and they don't need to share their answers. After the votes were tallied, it became clear that recess was the winner of their favorite activities.
