Richard Joslin, President
Richard Joslin is a life-long resident of Hampton Bays and graduated from Hampton Bays High School in 1970. Mr. Joslin received his Bachelor’s degree in education from the State University of New York at Oneonta. A retired educator, he taught in the Hampton Bays Elementary and Middle Schools for 34 years and was an adjunct professor at Long Island University, Southampton Campus.
Mr. Joslin and his wife, Debbi, a second-grade teacher in Hampton Bays, have three children, Tarrin, Stefani, and Taite.
Kevin Springer, Vice President
Kevin Springer has been a resident of Hampton Bays for more than 35 years. A graduate of the Hampton Bays Public Schools himself, Kevin has devoted his adult life to the schools, serving as a youth sports coach for more than 20 years and as a member of the Hampton Bays Citizens Advisory Committee, the Concerned Citizens of Hampton Bays, and the Hampton Bays Booster Club. Kevin is the owner of his own business, Dynamic Legal Services.
Kevin has three children, all current or former students of the Hampton Bays Public Schools. Michael is a 2014 graduate, Kylie is a sophomore at Hampton Bays High School, and Reese attends sixth grade at Hampton Bays Middle School.
Dorothy Capuano, Trustee
Dorothy Capuano has been a resident of Hampton Bays for the past 39 years. She is a hotel general manager and a local business owner. Dot received her Bachelor’s Degree from Southampton College. As an active member of the business and service community, Dot is on the Board of Directors of the Hampton Bays Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Council as well as the Long Island Convention and Visitor Bureau. Dot is a member of the American Business Association, the Hampton Bays Booster Club and the Hampton Bays Parent Teacher Student Association.
Dot and her husband John have three children. Amanda currently attends Suffolk Community College, and John and Thomas both attend Hampton Bays High School.
Michael Dunn, Trustee
Michael Dunn has been a resident of Hampton Bays for over 42 years and is a graduate of the 1986 class. He has dedicated himself to both youth athletics and civic groups in the community. He has coached girls softball and basketball for the past 12 years. He is currently the President of The Concerned Citizens of Hampton Bays (CCHB) and was the Co-Chair of the Hampton Bays Citizens Advisory Committee from 2012-2015. He is co-owner of Dunn Development & Construction Corp with his brother Joe.
Michael and his wife Kathy have 3 daughters. Taylor, a recent 2015 Hampton Bays graduate is starting her first semester at Marist College. Lindsay is a sophomore at the High School and Carly will starting her Middle School career in fifth grade this fall.
Liz Scully, Trustee
Liz Scully, a Southampton College alumna, has lived in Hampton Bays for nearly 15 years. It was during college when she fell in love with the close-knit community and chose to call it home. She is an active member of the school community, serving as president of the Hampton Bays Middle School Parent Teacher Organization, a member of the Executive Board of the High School Parent Teacher Student Association and a member of the Hampton Bays Booster Club.
Since 2005, Mrs. Scully has owned a local photography business, building relationships with many groups throughout Hampton Bays. When not working, she enjoys spending quality time playing sports, reading books and hanging out at the beach with her husband, Fergus, and two daughters, Caelinn (HBHS Class of 2018) and Saorla (HBHS Class of 2021).
